Feeling the Love

So many of you have been praying, bringing meals, dropping off care packages, and sending things in the mail. I may only see you on my doorbell camera, on video chat, or reading your notes, but want you to know I feel all the love and support!

I look forward to seeing people in person again when my immune system is up and running. But, until then, know that the support and love, and knowing we are not alone during this is very felt and appreciated. We did sneak out on Easter Sunday and got so see some of your faces in person, which was such a refreshing treat!

So far, being home from the hospital I’ve felt pretty strong and energetic. Had some muscle weakness when using my legs a lot, it’s clear I’ve lost strength since the first cycle of treatment. But, I’ve been doing some mini physical therapy workouts to get stronger!

I spent some time playing with the kids, walking around the house and yard, and having a good appetite for meals. Trying to have a somewhat normal life rhythm in between clinic visits while I’m home from the hospital.

Celebrating Resurrection Sunday as a family last Sunday was a huge highlight and a special thank you to all who sent some goodies for our kids, as the holiday snuck up on me. They had a special day, and we enjoyed spending it together out of the house!

This cycle has been pretty quiet so far. Cycle four (2B) is scheduled to start up one week from today.
